ELIE SAAB – A new interpretation of elegance
A sort of sophisticated rock energy could be felt at Elie Saab’s Spring Summer 2010 fashion show in Paris. The models were walking on black sparkling sand, wearing graphic silhouettes and structured cuts, often in combination with shimmering, metallic accessories.
The colour range reflects a desert sky evolving itself from dusk to midnight. From sandy beige to sunset red, from azure to midnight black. A high-waisted silhouette, accentuated epaulettes aswell as cut-outs and embroidered backparts are key themes in Saab’s reinvention of a contemporary muse.
