Sophie Albou on her first runway show in Paris: “The idea was about an urban jungle: Amazon, and animals are always in my heart. So, I need to have animals. And this time I have cat. I love everything about cat and tiger.

It is a very, very positive, enthusiastic, dynamic collection. I want the girls to be beautiful; I want the girls to love what they wear. I want the girls to bright.

The show is like lightness and color and super “lame” energetic Styles were very short or longer, a lot of rap, a lot of asymmetrical and animal and everything that they like. It's a lot of silk. Prints are the best to make in silk. Silk makes the prints really bright.

After ten years I feeling I needed to do it. It was something that was crazy because it's very crazy to do a show, because fashion week in Paris is crazy. There’s Milan before and London, New York, a lot of designers. I decided to do it now, because it s a time of maturation. I live the beautiful story because I enjoy my work, I have a beautiful family and now the show is like a consequence, I can say.”
